Job summary

Analytic Recruiting Inc. is seeking a VP of Analytics to own the analytics agenda for profitable growth in a fintech SMB lender. You will expand approvals, conversion and revenue while balancing losses, leading a global team across onshore and offshore locations.

The role requires 15+ years in financial services analytics, a strong risk management foundation, and hands-on Python/SQL/Excel skills with an AI-forward mindset. You will influence senior leaders and shape growth and unit economics.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Financial Services or FinTech credit and growth analytics.
• Deep foundation in risk management analytics: underwriting, portfolio monitoring, collections and forecasting.
• 8+ years leading analysts, including onshore and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics agenda for profitable growth across approvals, conversion, and revenue while controlling losses.
• Identify growth opportunities via credit-box expansion, risk-based pricing, and portfolio strategy.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Sales and Underwriting on analytics and hypothesis testing with A/B frameworks.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product to improve funnel conversion from lead to funding.
• Work with Technology to deploy analytics strategies into production.
• Deliver portfolio health view with early-warning monitoring across underwriting and collections.
• Own loss and revenue forecasts to guide growth and investment decisions.
• Lead a global team of analysts across onshore and offshore locations.
• Champion AI-forward working using AI tools and LLMs to speed up analysis.
