Job summary

BaneCare Management is seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development to drive census growth, referrals, and admissions strategy across nine skilled nursing and two assisted living communities in Massachusetts.

The role oversees Clinical Liaison, Business Development, and Corporate Admissions, providing leadership to Facility Admissions Directors while expanding hospital and payer partnerships to sustain occupancy and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree, RN licensure, or LNHA preferred.
• 7+ years of skilled nursing/post-acute admissions or business development experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-facility teams.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A, MassHealth, managed care, and PDPM.

Responsibilities

• Lead census, occupancy, and payer-mix strategy across Massachusetts facilities.
• Develop annual census and growth plans with Administrators.
• Monitor referrals, admissions, discharges, beds, and census trends.
• Build partnerships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, physicians, ACOs, and payers.
• Oversee payer verification and contract processes; ensure clinical appropriateness.
