Job summary

BaneCare Management LLC in Massachusetts seeks a Regional Director of Operations to lead nine skilled nursing and two assisted living communities. You will drive census growth, manage budgets, develop administrators, and ensure quality and compliance across the portfolio.

Travel throughout MA is required to mentor site leaders, optimize operations, monitor KPIs, and partner with clinical, finance, HR, and marketing teams to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in skilled nursing.
• Strong understanding of skilled nursing operations, reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.
• Demonstrated success managing budgets, labor, census, occupancy, and overall facility performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to facility Administrators and leadership teams.
• Drive census growth and occupancy by partnering with facility leadership, admissions, marketing, and clinical teams.
• Monitor census, admissions, payer mix, labor, staffing, expenses, and other key operational metrics.
• Manage facility budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve revenue and control expenses.
• Review monthly financial results and develop corrective action plans when performance is below target.
• Support Administrators in developing and executing facility-specific operational and census growth strategies.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective labor management while maintaining quality resident care.
• Maintain strong standards for regulatory compliance, survey readiness, quality outcomes, and resident satisfaction.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop facility leaders while creating a culture of accountability and collaboration.
