Job summary

BaneCare Management seeks an experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead a portfolio of skilled nursing and senior living communities in Massachusetts. The role focuses on census growth, financial performance, and high standards of care and compliance.

Lead Administrators, collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, and ensure staffing, budgets, and regulatory readiness align with strategic goals across the MA region.

Qualifications

• Current MA LNHA license is required.
• Experience leading multi-site skilled nursing operations.
• Strong budgeting, labor, census, and performance management experience.
• Excellent communication and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Ability to travel regularly across Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability to facility Administrators and teams.
• Drive census growth and occupancy through collaborations with admissions, marketing, and clinical teams.
• Monitor census, payer mix, labor, expenses, and other metrics.
• Manage budgets and financial performance; identify revenue opportunities and cost control measures.
• Review monthly results and develop corrective action plans with leadership.
• Support Administrators in implementing site-specific census growth strategies.
• Ensure staffing levels and labor management support quality resident care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and quality outcomes.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical improvements.
• Recruit and develop facility leaders; foster accountability and collaboration.
• Coordinate with clinical, finance, HR, recruitment, marketing and corporate teams to meet needs.
• Assess capital needs and allocate resources for operational investments.
• Track KPIs and report performance and recommendations to CEO and senior leaders.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting operations.
