Job summary

BaneCare Management, based in Braintree, Massachusetts, seeks an experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead census growth, referral development, and admissions strategy across nine skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities and two assisted living communities in Massachusetts.

The role oversees Clinical Liaison, Business Development, and Corporate Admissions, providing functional leadership to Facility Admissions Directors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of skilled nursing/post-acute admissions or business development experience
• Including at least 3 years leading multi-facility teams
• Knowledge of Medicare Part A, MassHealth, managed care authorization
• Experience with PointClickCare and CRM/referral management platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, communication, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Lead census, occupancy, skilled-mix, and payer-mix strategy across facilities
• Develop annual census and growth plans with facility Administrators
• Monitor referrals, admissions, discharges, open beds, conversion rates, and census trends
• Identify market opportunities and referral sources, partnerships, and programs
• Build relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and payers
• Lead and develop Clinical Liaison, Business Development, and Corporate Admissions teams
• Coordinate payer and hospice contract development with Finance, Operations, and Legal
• Standardize referral intake, clinical review, bed-offer, and admission processes across facilities
• Ensure admissions are clinically appropriate and compliant with regulations
• Report regularly to senior leadership on key metrics
• Maintain budget and manage market-development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts requirements
