HireCare Services - Massachusetts is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to drive admissions, census growth, and market strategy across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Boston area. You will lead admissions, marketing, and referral relationships to achieve sustained census growth.

The role requires strategic leadership with a track record of growing census and building high-value referral networks within post-acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of business development, admissions, marketing, or census-growth experience within skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, or related healthcare setting.
• Experience leading multi-facility or regional teams is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of skilled nursing admissions process, hospital referral networks, and competitive healthcare markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions, marketing, and census development strategies across all assigned facilities.
• Develop and implement individualized business development plans for each facility.
• Establish measurable census, referral, conversion, and occupancy goals.
• Lead, support, and hold facility admissions and marketing teams accountable for performance.
• Analyze referral patterns, market conditions, competitors, hospital relationships, and census trends.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase short-term rehabilitation and long-term care admissions.
