Wpromote is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the Polaris engineering organization responsible for client CRM and marketing intelligence. Polaris supports client and integration management, normalized marketing data, reporting, measurement, forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection, and client insights through internal and client-facing products.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in multi-team environments.
• Proven ability to scale engineering orgs and set architectural direction.
• Strong experience with SaaS, cloud, data platforms, and CI/CD.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development and automation thoughtfully.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and security posture.
• Excellent communication with product, security, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead managers and engineers across the stack, data pipelines, and cloud platform.
• Build scalable leadership and reduce single points of failure.
• Set high standards for technical judgment and delivery ownership.
• Own capacity planning, staffing, and engineering budget.
• Shape Polaris roadmap with Product, UX, Data Science, and CPO.
• Translate market needs into a coherent tech strategy across Polaris IQ and data apps.
• Maintain architecture roadmap and retire fragile systems.
