Job summary

STACK Infrastructure in Denver is seeking a VP of Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical engineering function across data center projects. You will set technical direction, build and develop the team, and partner with Mechanical, Technology, and Operations to deliver safe, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.

You will engage with clients as a senior technical representative, establish design standards, govern technical decisions, and ensure alignment with project objectives, schedules,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading and developing engineering organizations, including managers and senior engineers.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution, substations, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and related infrastructure.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Engineering organization with clear accountability and priorities.
• Provide technical direction across the project portfolio and approve major decisions.
• Engage clients as a senior technical representative during design reviews and workshops.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and repeatable design approaches.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with Mechanical Engineering, Technology, and Operations.
• Drive strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of electrical engineering practices.
