Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks a Director of Technology Design and Implementation to lead a high-impact data center project from design through delivery. You will coordinate with design, construction, IT, and operations, guiding telecom, security, AV, and DAS/ERRCS scopes to meet STACK standards.

You will manage a team of technical specialists, oversee installation and testing, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time handover while communicating with clients and stakeholders throughout the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience in security and network design and implementation.
• Strong technical understanding of network, security, A/V, DAS/ERRCS, BMS/EPMS.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level specifications across multiple projects/sites.
• Experience handling multiple large-scale projects with overlapping requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: develop schedules with architects/engineers to integrate tech systems.
• Serve as SME for all technology items on a single large project.
• Lead a team of technical specialists in telecom, security, etc.
• Coordinate telecom, security, AV and DAS/ERRCS scopes and manage GC/subcontractor relationships.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of security, A/V, fiber, cabling, and network infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections and review docs to ensure design specs and safety standards are met.
• Track deliverables and resolve issues to ensure timely completion.
• Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders and maintain vendor communication.
• Monitor material lead times and procurement status and manage risks.
