Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Director, Electric Utilities to lead load-interconnection strategies for data center projects in the STACK Development team. The role focuses on managing utility relationships, coordinating budgeting, and guiding regulatory and policy discussions with external stakeholders.

The position requires deep energy sector experience, strong communication, and the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical teams. Denver-based, with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the energy sector (utility, consulting, renewables).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the load-interconnection process and serve as a primary contact with the utility for data center projects.
• Own, cultivate and manage utility relationships and foster collaboration.
• Document the load interconnection process and track financial commitments and timelines.
• Forecast and manage utility budgets for projects.
• Support business case development and leadership decisions for site viability.
