Job summary

Allegacy is seeking a Vice President of Digital Operations to lead the strategy, operation, and growth of our digital banking ecosystem. You will report to the CIO and own platforms, partnerships, and performance across digital channels including online account opening and AI-powered experiences.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in digital banking, digital channels, or digital product and operations, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles — ideally in financial services.
• Proven executive ownership of a digital banking platform, with accountability for adoption and growth outcomes.
• Deep fintech expertise, including partnership models, and how to evaluate, negotiate, integrate, and scale third-party capabilities.
• Experience leading AI or automation initiatives in member-facing channels, with good judgment on value and risk.
• Strong command of third-party risk management and regulatory expectations for fintech partnerships in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated success building and leading multi-layered teams, developing leaders, and managing growth and change.
• Financial and vendor management acumen, including budget ownership, contract negotiation, and business case development.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Allegacy’s multi-year digital channel strategy, aligning digital banking, account opening, and conversational channels with enterprise goals.
• Own the performance of digital channels end to end — adoption, engagement, conversion, reliability, and member satisfaction.
• Lead digital roadmap and investment prioritization, balancing member impact, business value, risk, and readiness.
• Champion journey redesign across account opening, onboarding, servicing, and everyday banking, reducing friction.
• Architect and grow fintech ecosystem with market insights, partnerships, and where to lead or partner.
• Own fintech partner portfolio end to end from sourcing to renewal and exit.
• Serve as executive relationship owner for platform partners like Lumin, Glide, and Glia.
• Set the vision for AI across digital channels and deploy guardrails for responsible use.
• Establish KPIs and governance for reliability, security, and cost optimization.
• Oversee risk, governance, and compliance for fintech partnerships with security and privacy in mind.
• Build and scale a high-performing digital operations organization and budget.
