Job summary

The Vice President of Development at Goodwill Industries Of Middle Georgia & the CSRA serves as a strategic executive leader responsible for advancing philanthropic growth and the long-term sustainability of the Goodwill Works Foundation.

Reporting to the President/CEO, this role collaborates with the Vice President of Marketing and other leaders to strengthen donor engagement through storytelling, public awareness, and mission-focused communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Seven+ years of progressive executive leadership in nonprofit development.
• Experience generating multi-million-dollar philanthropic support.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive fundraising and advancement initiatives to support organizational sustainability.
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies across Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Grants, and Campaigns.
• Build and sustain relationships with corporations, foundations, elected officials, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors while managing a portfolio of strategic relationships.
• Provide leadership for the fundraising team to achieve annual goals.
• Develop faith-based partnerships and grow related alumni associations and scholarship funds.
• Collaborate on governance and strategic initiatives with the Executive Leadership Team.
