Job summary

zerohash is seeking a VP/SVP of Business Operations to bring rigor, speed, and cross-functional coordination to decision-making and scaling. You will own five pillars—BI, AI rollout, procurement, market analysis, and organizational design—and lead this function from the ground up, partnering with Finance, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams.

The role is high visibility and reports to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, corporate development, or related leadership roles.
• 5–8+ years of that experience in FinTech; crypto, digital assets, payments, or banking/brokerage infra is a strong plus.
• Track record of building functions from scratch—stand up teams and processes, not just operate within them.
• Sharp analytical skills with comfort in ambiguity; credible presenting to a board and hands-on spreadsheet work.
• Experience driving AI or major technology adoption within an operating business, ideally at scale.
• Strong vendor negotiation and procurement strategy experience.
• Excellent executive communication skills, with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences.
• Based in the United States; ability to travel to team hubs.

Responsibilities

• Own five pillars: business intelligence, AI operational rollout, procurement, new product/market analysis, and organizational design & operating efficiency.
• Build and lead the BI function with unified reporting, KPI frameworks, and real-time dashboards for executives and the board.
• Define enterprise-wide AI tool adoption roadmaps, use-case selection, governance, and change management.
• Establish formal procurement processes: vendor onboarding, evaluation, negotiation, spend management, and approvals.
• Lead market sizing, competitive analysis, and roadmap input for new products, markets, and geographies.
• Provide headcount planning, org design, and operating scaling improvements.
