Job summary

Gravie is seeking a Vice President of Platform & Architecture to lead Gravie’s shared technology foundations, including platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI enablement. This hands-on leader will drive architecture decisions, roadmap, and standards across Engineering, Product, and Security to accelerate scalable product delivery.

The role requires executive leadership, a track record in building shared platforms, and a strong focus on AI-powered capabilities and developer experience

Qualifications

• Significant leadership in platform engineering, architecture, and developer experience.
• Hands-on capability as a technical executive, balancing strategy with detailed design.
• Proven track record building shared platforms used by multiple teams.
• Experience improving engineering productivity, platform reliability, and operational effectiveness.
• Experience building AI capabilities embedded in customer-facing products.
• Experience with AI agent orchestration, evaluation, observability and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Define Gravie’s platform, architecture, and cloud strategy to enable scalable product development.
• Own a prioritized platform roadmap aligned with product strategy and business priorities.
• Lead architecture across services and product domains; resolve systemic risks.
• Engage in critical architectural decisions, reviews, prototyping, and problem solving.
• Set technical standards to improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Build Gravie’s AI platform including model access, agent orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Lead adoption of agentic development across Engineering; establish tooling and training.
• Establish shared QA practices, tooling, and automation to improve release confidence.
