Job summary

Gravie is seeking a Vice President of Data to define and lead how data advances our business strategy, improves the member experience, and drives better healthcare and business outcomes.

This leader will set Gravie’s data strategy, establish platforms, governance, analytical capabilities, and organizational capabilities required to unlock value from health and business data across member, employer, provider, and financial information.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leadership across data/analytics, data platforms or data products.
• Healthcare data experience with medical/pharmacy datasets.
• Proven ability to define data strategy and operating models.
• Hands-on leader capable of both strategic and technical work.
• Strong strategic, commercial, and financial judgment.
• Experience applying analytics, data science, or AI to improve outcomes.
• Experience building cloud data platforms, pipelines, and analytics environments.
• Knowledge of data architecture, security, privacy, and modern data-management practices.
• Experience establishing enterprise data-governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Gravie’s enterprise data strategy, aligning investments with business, product, and technology goals.
• Identify opportunities to use data to understand members, personalize experiences, and improve navigation.
• Partner with clinical, actuarial, network, pharmacy, and operations leaders to reduce cost of care.
• Develop differentiated data products, insights, benchmarks, and services that unlock new revenue.
• Build Gravie’s data science capability to turn data into predictive insights and decision-support.
• Lead data architecture, pipelines, and BI capabilities; evolve governance.
• Establish and grow Gravie’s data governance function and team.
• Serve as AI-forward leader applying AI to products, experiences, and operations.
• Ensure responsible AI and model governance with legal/compliance.
• Strengthen data engineering and analytics while maturing governance and data products.
