Job summary

Oscar is hiring a VP, Network Management to lead contracting strategy and management of a high-performing provider network across a defined geographic area. You will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance network performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality, cost-effective care.

You will report to the SVP, Network & Provider Management. This is a remote position with potential hybrid requirements based on metro area; base pay ranges from $240,120 to $315,157 per year.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in network management, provider relations, or health plan ops.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in relevant roles.
• 10+ years experience in provider contracting and building provider relationships.
• 8+ years managing large provider networks in health insurance or managed care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for provider network growth, alignment, and optimization.
• Develop a strategy to improve network adequacy, access, and member experience across markets.
• Oversee contracting strategy, including value-based and fee-for-service models.
• Build and maintain relationships with health system leaders and providers.
• Negotiate and manage high-value, complex contracts to control costs.
• Monitor network performance metrics, including cost, utilization, and quality.
• Drive initiatives to improve network performance and member access to care.
• Ensure network compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and mitigate risk with legal/compliance teams.
• Lead and develop a high-performing network management team.
