Job summary

Beacon Global Strategies, a Washington, DC-based advisory firm, seeks a Vice President to lead growth in the public sector for defense and national security clients. You will manage a portfolio of clients, shape strategy, and drive engagements in a fast-paced environment.

The VP will build and execute business development plans, maintain USG relationships, and help clients navigate acquisition processes while contributing to thought leadership and market positioning.

Qualifications

• Strong network and reputation in the defense and national security technology space.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the national security ecosystem in the business development or government capacity.
• Experience managing teams and leading client engagements.
• Ideal candidate will be well-versed in U.S. acquisition policy, sales best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
• Commercial mindset and ability to articulate business implications of public policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships and a portfolio of clients across a variety of technologies and services.
• Oversee formulation of strategies and briefing of client deliverables to enhance market position.
• Provide thought leadership through publications and events related to National Security and Technology.
