Job summary

Beacon Global Strategies, a Washington, DC–based strategic advisory firm, seeks a Vice President to lead its economic security practice. You will manage a substantial client portfolio, connect clients with experts, and drive cross-agency engagement across regulatory regimes and financing tools to deliver high-value insights.

You will oversee teams, pursue growth opportunities, and represent the firm with senior clients, strengthening Beacon’s market position in national security and policy

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in export controls, trade policy, or related fields.
• 5+ years leading teams in professional services or gov/regulatory settings.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. economic security policy and related regulatory regimes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-value client relationships and set priorities.
• Advise on defensive and affirmative tools within the U.S. economic security framework.
• Provide guidance on regulatory regimes (EAR/BIS, OFAC, FCC) and related financing tools.
• Develop and coach a team across seniority levels to build analytical depth.
• Identify growth opportunities and broaden Beacon’s client base.
• Represent the firm at senior levels to proposals and client engagements.
