Job summary

STR is seeking a Vice President of Strategy & Growth in Washington, D.C. to translate DARPA relationships, lead growth strategy, and secure large-scale programs of record.

You will collaborate with STR’s technical leadership to align capabilities with acquisition audiences and map senior government relationships. The role requires US citizenship, active security clearance, and deep federal government experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active US Security Clearance.
• Experience across federal government with strong understanding of acquisitions, appropriations, and PPBE processes.
• Deep understanding of how different secretariats and organizations within the Department of War align budget and programs to department priorities.
• Passion for delivering mission critical capabilities.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate STR’s DARPA relationships and pilots into large-scale programs of record.
• Map and cultivate relationships with decision-makers across services, combatant commands, OSD, IC, and Capitol Hill.
• Engage in PPBE processes to ensure STR capabilities are embedded in budgets and requirements.
• Develop a whole-of-government relations strategy and co-funded R&D approach.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit coordination across technical, BD, and government affairs teams.
