Red Cell Partners is seeking a senior leader to build and lead its defense growth organization from Washington, DC. The VP will engage senior decision-makers, define innovative solutions, and drive opportunities from concept through award while aligning with evolving defense priorities.

The role requires extensive defense industry experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to build durable pipelines with government partners and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of defense, national security, government, consulting, or technology leadership roles.
• Proven ability to engage senior leaders and uncover mission needs.
• Experience developing solution concepts and business cases around complex operational challenges.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across technical, operations and executive teams.
• Active Secret Clearance Preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the defense growth strategy and business solutions activities.
• Engage with senior military, civilian, and industry stakeholders to identify emerging challenges and unmet needs.
• Translate customer problems into executable solution concepts.
• Shape new offerings and programs with technical teams.
• Build and manage a durable pipeline across contracts, OTAs, SBIRs, and other acquisition pathways.
• Establish strategic relationships with government organizations, prime contractors, technology companies, and research institutions.
• Advise leadership on market trends and long-term growth opportunities.
