Continental Properties is seeking a Vice President of Multifamily Acquisitions to lead in Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison. You will guide market analysis, deal-making, and cross-functional teams from concept to construction, shaping major multifamily developments.

You will analyze markets, assess sites, negotiate with landowners, and present opportunities to the Investment Committee while driving the pipeline and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, real estate, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including leading and mentoring teams.
• Proven ability to deliver insights that drive key business decisions.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a global perspective.
• Detail-oriented and adept at managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate regional and local market fundamentals to identify target submarkets.
• Create clear market strategies for each target market; become a local expert.
• Evaluate sites based on site criteria and perform financial analysis to determine viability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landowners including negotiations.
• Complete risk/reward analysis; identify critical path.
• Understand pro-forma including total project costs, revenue projections and cash flows.
• Present projects to Investment Committee and external partners such as lenders and investors.
• Meet annual pipeline and groundbreaking goals.
