Continental Properties Company, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Associate at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. This entry-level role supports land acquisition and development for multi-family and single-family projects, reporting to the VP of Acquisitions.

Ideal candidates have coursework in real estate finance or development and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Travel to target markets and involvement in underwriting through closing are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Business required; emphasis in Real Estate preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diplomacy and tact.
• Background or coursework in financial modeling, real estate finance, or development preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify off-market opportunities and develop relationships with landowners.
• Support land acquisition and development efforts for multi-family and single-family projects.
• Maintain an active pipeline and assist in market research and strategy.
• Travel to target markets for site selection and meetings with market leaders.
• Underwrite through closing processes and coordinate LOIs and paperwork.
• Monitor submarket rents, costs, trends, and political factors.
• Prepare LOIs and related transaction documentation.
