Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Detroit seeks an Emerging Middle Market Relationship Manager, VP to lead profitable client development and risk-aware banking solutions for mid-market firms with $10M+ in annual sales.

You will collaborate with One Bank teams, analyze financial statements, and tailor lending, treasury management, and capital markets solutions while managing risk and building trusted advisor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years Commercial Banking experience, preferably in sales.
• Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience.
• Ability to structure for moderately complex financial situations.
• Proven ability to build new and existing client business translating to increased revenue.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial statements.
• Ability to build strong internal partnerships to provide holistic solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for clients using referrals, existing clients, and centers of influence.
• Develop and implement a business plan to achieve financial goals.
• Collaborate with One Bank partners to deepen relationships and acquire new prospects.
• Attend community/industry events to broaden networks and knowledge.
• Analyze financial information to tailor credit and banking solutions.
• Meet with customers regularly to ensure their needs are met and opportunities pursued.
• Utilize CRM and call reporting to manage activities and pipeline.
• Coordinate with Credit on requests and adhere to portfolio guidelines.
