Job summary

Southwire Company in Georgia seeks a Vice President of Corporate Development to partner with the CEO, CFO, and leaders to shape growth through M&A, strategic investments, and portfolio management. This executive leads transaction execution and integration planning to enhance shareholder value.

You will direct all phases of deals, build a pipeline of targets, and guide cross-functional teams toward operational synergies and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or quantitative field
• 15+ years of experience in corporate development or related fields
• Significant experience leading complex M&A transactions, due diligence, post-merger integration, and enterprise growth initiatives in a large corporate environment
• MBA or related advanced business degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead inorganic growth strategy and pipeline for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments that align with enterprise objectives.
• Evaluate strategic growth opportunities with CFO, CEO, and executive leadership to support portfolio planning and value creation.
• Direct all phases of deal execution including target identification, valuation, due diligence, negotiation support, financial modeling, and closing.
• Oversee analyses of market trends, risks, and growth opportunities to drive enterprise value creation.
• Lead Corporate Ventures initiatives including portfolio governance and potential board involvement.
• Develop and mentor teams to foster strategic thinking, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
