Job summary

American College of Healthcare Executives seeks a strategic Vice President of Membership & Field Relations in Chicago to lead member engagement, growth, and chapter relationships.

You will oversee the Council of Regents support, chapter governance, and retention initiatives while guiding staff and volunteers toward ACHE’s mission and priorities. This role reports to the President & CEO and requires in-person work in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in health administration, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of ten years of management/association experience, including chapter relations and supervisory experience.
• FACHE credential preferred or the ability to achieve it.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Council of Regents strategy and enable volunteer leaders to carry out responsibilities effectively.
• Lead Chapter Governance and support to optimize current and future chapter needs and ensure value delivery across the network.
• Design and drive Membership Growth & Retention strategies and use data analytics to track engagement trends.
• Serve as a member of the senior leadership team and manage department budgets and communications with stakeholders.
• Act as liaison to the Chapter Committee and support relations with federal sector members.
