Job summary

Aramark seeks a Vice President, Labor Relations to lead enterprise-wide labor relations strategy and team leadership across multiple business lines. The role shapes bargaining strategy, contract administration, and dispute management within a large, unionized environment.

The ideal candidate will guide operations, HR, and legal partners while advising senior leadership on labor market trends, regulatory changes, and workforce implications of business decisions. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Law.
• Master's degree or JD or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide labor relations strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage and guide Labor Relations Directors and ensure consistent application of labor contract provisions.
• Build relationships with union leadership at various levels and represent the organization in meetings with labor organizations and regulators.
• Oversee collective bargaining, grievance handling, arbitrations, and contract administration; monitor trends and act on corrective actions.
• Advise senior leadership on bargaining strategies, workforce planning, and labor risks for business decisions.
• Serve as trusted advisor to business unit presidents on labor matters affecting growth and performance.
• Coordinate labor strategy with HR, Operations, Legal, Finance and Compliance during restructurings and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws; disseminate regulatory requirements.
