Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a visionary VP, Identity Security Platforms to lead the development of identity security tools within IAM. You will oversee teams across security engineering, posture management, and cyber operations, combining hands-on design with strategic leadership to drive enterprise-wide identity hygiene.

You will own the product roadmap, partner with solution architects and security stakeholders, and ensure governance, performance, and risk management across ISPM and ITDR platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading mission-critical technology and security functions.
• 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or similar.
• Experience with security posture management tools (ISPM, CSPM, XSPM).
• Experience using Agile Product Owner or Tech Lead on a product team.
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate technical strategy.
• Ability to drive cross-functional change and align with business goals.
• Knowledge of SOX, PCI, and NIST regulatory standards.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISP, CASP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Identity Security product roadmaps as the Agile Product Owner.
• Manage development, testing, implementation, and operations of ISPM & ITDR platforms.
• Oversee Zero Trust access policy engineering to enable adaptive policies.
• Drive governance, technical excellence, and risk management of the platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to review and integrate technologies.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
