Job summary

Synchrony seeks a VP, Identity Security Platforms to lead the development and management of Identity Security tools within the IAM division. The role calls for broad expertise in identity, security engineering, posture management, and cyber operations, with hands-on design as needed.

The incumbent will drive cross-functional governance, risk management, and enterprise-wide security metrics while leading a team of engineers/analysts.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years IT experience or HS diploma with 15 years experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering/analyst teams.
• 5+ years delivering tech solutions for large enterprises.
• Experience with security policy engineering (firewall, zero trust).
• Understanding of IAM principles, IDP's and authentication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Identity Security roadmaps as Agile Product Owner.
• Manage ISPM & ITDR platform development, testing, and operations.
• Oversee Zero Trust policy engineering and adaptive policies.
• Govern platforms with metrics on security, performance, availability.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to review tech.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
