Job summary

Highwire is seeking a seasoned Vice President, Business Development to lead and scale the agency’s new business function. You will drive pipeline strategy, lead pitches, and convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

You will partner with executive leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, elevate pitch excellence, and build repeatable systems that accelerate growth across key industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development and client leadership at an agency or similar marketing environment.
• Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder pitches and winning new business.
• Strong understanding of integrated, cross-channel agency offerings and go-to-market strategies.
• Experience building scalable systems, playbooks, and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the full new business lifecycle from qualification to close.
• Manage a strong, qualified pipeline aligned to agency priorities.
• Lead pitches, RFPs, and strategic proposals with executive presence.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, digital, and insights.
• Build scalable systems to improve win rates, forecasting, and visibility.
