Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Vice President, Procurement - Data Center Infrastructure to lead global procurement strategy, operating model and execution for major capital equipment, power solutions and infrastructure programs.

The role shapes supplier capacity, performance and continuity across a complex portfolio, translating construction demand into scalable category strategies and negotiating high-value agreements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or capital programs, with leadership of global portfolios.
• Experience supporting major construction, infrastructure or capital programs.
• Proven ability to lead category strategies, secure supplier capacity and negotiate high-value agreements.
• Strong cost analysis, financial modeling and market intelligence skills.

Responsibilities

• Set and optimize global procurement strategies for major capital equipment and construction-related infrastructure.
• Translate construction pipeline into integrated category and supplier plans.
• Lead complex negotiations and align with Legal and stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes.
• Oversee warehousing, logistics and procurement governance to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop and maintain resilient supplier ecosystems across geographies and cultures.
