Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior executive to lead global procurement strategy and governance for major capital equipment, power solutions and data center infrastructure programs. You will shape supplier capacity, negotiate complex commercial agreements, influence senior stakeholders and manage a diverse global team across regions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership with global scope.
• Experience in major construction, infrastructure or capital programs.
• Strong category strategy, supplier capacity and high-value negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-geography teams in a matrixed organization.
• Cost analysis, financial modeling and data-driven decision-making ability.
• Experience building strategic supplier relationships and influencing executives.

Responsibilities

• Set and optimize end-to-end global procurement strategies and processes for major capital equipment and construction-related categories.
• Translate construction pipelines into integrated sourcing plans and supplier capacity strategies.
• Partner with senior leaders across functions to align procurement with program requirements.
• Lead complex negotiations with Legal and business stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes.
• Establish governance, KPIs and reporting on program performance and supplier risk.
• Oversee warehousing, logistics and integration with project schedules.
• Steer power-related infrastructure procurement and related commercial strategies.
• Drive innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement in procurement practices.
• Develop and nurture a diverse global team and cultivate an inclusive culture.
