Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a senior leader to formulate and execute a global energy strategy. You will partner with utilities and customers to secure firm demand opportunities, negotiate trading agreements, and evaluate long-term energy products such as PPAs and RECs.

The role involves public policy advocacy and economic assessment of cogeneration and alternative energy solutions, including SMRs, hydrogen, and battery storage, to support sustainable growth across core markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the utility industry with exchanges and bilateral trading experience.
• Engineering background with experience on generation assets or related energy projects.
• Education in engineering, finance, or accounting or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute Aligned’s global energy strategy.
• Negotiate commodities trading agreements (ISDAs, EEIs) and procure long-term energy products.
• Collaborate with utilities and customers to secure firm demand opportunities.
• Evaluate economic viability of cogeneration and alternative energy solutions.
• Support sustainability initiatives and public policy advocacy.
