Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a senior energy strategist to lead our global energy strategy, secure firm demand partnerships with utilities and customers, and advance public policy supporting load growth in core markets.

The role negotiates ISDAs, EEIs, PPAs, VPPAs, and RECs, evaluates cogeneration and alternative energy options, and collaborates with executive leadership across ESG, finance, and real estate to optimize energy needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the utility industry.
• Experience with energy trading and procurement.
• Engineering/Finance/Accounting education or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Formulating and executing Aligned’s Global Energy Strategy.
• Partnering with utilities and customers to identify well-located, firm demand opportunities.
• Influencing public policies to support load growth in core markets.
• Negotiating Commodities Trading Agreements – ISDAs, EEIs, etc.
• Evaluating and executing long-term physical, financial, and renewable energy products – PPAs, VPPAs, RECs.
• Leading economic evaluation of cogeneration and alternative energy solutions.
