Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a visionary Vice President, Cyber Defense to lead the enterprise strategy and capabilities that protect people, products, customers, and operations. You will oversee Cyber Defense Center operations, insider threats, threat intelligence, and detection engineering.

The role requires executive leadership, deep expertise in incident response, threat intelligence, and security platforms, plus the ability to translate cyber risk into business impact

Qualifications

• Executive-level experience leading large-scale, global cybersecurity or cyber defense teams.
• Proven ability to build and scale Cyber Defense Centers, red/purple teams, and intelligence-led defense.
• Strong understanding of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience translating cyber risk into business impact for executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise cyber defense strategy, operating model, roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Partner with the CISO and executives to align cyber defense with business priorities.
• Lead global teams for Cyber Defense Center operations, insider threat investigations, threat intelligence, and detection engineering.
• Advance AI-enabled security operations and scalable capabilities.
• Travel ~25%, less if based in Houston, TX.
