Job summary

Charles River Development seeks a Principal Consultant to assess client needs and deliver technical solutions across CRIMS platforms. You will lead cross-functional projects, mentor consultants, and partner with sales to shape proofs of concept and client proposals.

Responsibilities include overseeing engagements, analyzing requirements, and guiding design choices from presales to deployment. Travel to client sites is expected, with a strong focus on infrastructure, optimization, and integration.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Computer Science.
8–10 years in Financial/Software Services with market information systems background preferred.
Willingness to travel 10–20% across US/Canada; remote work option may vary by client.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day client engagements and lead projects within scope and SOW.
Analyze and communicate solutions from presales to implementation with detailed assessments.
Guide less experienced consultants on implementations and resource allocation.
Demonstrate deep CRIMS knowledge across Infrastructure, Performance, Development, and Integration.
Influence design with concrete data to maintain system integrity for clients and CRD.
Document and drive resolutions for project issues; mentor assigned consultants.
Collaborate with CRD sales to draft proofs of concept and validate client needs.
