Job summary

Charles River Development seeks a Front-Office Software Technical Trading Engineer to play a pivotal role in implementing the IMS suite at client sites. You will engage in Java and C# development, ETL interfaces, and XML/SOAP messaging as part of a highly technical consulting team.

The role requires strong travel (50–80%) to client locations across the U.S. and Canada, leadership of multiple technical initiatives, and collaboration with business analysts and project managers to deliver reliable

Qualifications

BA/BS in business or technical field including Finance, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science.
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Financial/Software Services.
Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada; travel 10-20% typical, may exceed that in any year.

Responsibilities

Java and C# programming.
Lead and manage multiple technical initiatives, potentially on multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop with a result-driven approach while maintaining implementation schedules.
Participate in functional and technical requirements gathering and review.
Create, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces based on specifications.
Collaborate with team members including business analysts, project managers, and customer staff.
Serve as a technical expert in implementation projects.
Contribute to the technical documentation.
