Ashley Furniture is seeking a Vice President of Fleet Maintenance to drive the enterprise strategy for fleet upkeep, safety, and cost efficiency. This leader will partner with distribution, transportation, safety, procurement, and finance to translate goals into disciplined maintenance practices across sites.

The role demands strategic leadership and operational rigor, managing vendor relationships, tech adoption, and performance reporting to support reliable delivery and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, transportation operations, or asset-intensive environments.
• Experience leading multi-site maintenance operations for large, company-owned fleets.
• Strong financial acumen, including cost modeling, ROI analysis, and vendor negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise fleet maintenance strategy and governance.
• Oversee asset lifecycle planning and TCO optimization.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage parts and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and mentor fleet maintenance leadership across the network.
