Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Fleet Manager for the South Region to oversee Driver Managers, manage escalated issues, and ensure safe and efficient fleet operations. You will drive asset utilization, scheduling, and DOT/FMCSA compliance, while leading a team and improving dispatch processes.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with planning, warehousing, and customer service to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of dispatch, logistics, or transportation management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with dispatch software and GPS tracking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dispatch operations and coordinate logistics for timely deliveries in the South region.
• Develop and implement dispatch procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor real-time delivery status and adjust schedules to meet commitments.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance and safe driving practices across the fleet.
• Lead, train, and coach Driver Managers and staff to improve performance.
