Job summary

State Street seeks a Vice President, Finance Transformation Lead to drive end-to-end transformation across Finance and Treasury processes in a hands-on, data-driven role. You will build and present evidence-based business cases, lead governance cadences, and push for automation and standardization across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include leading data-centric analyses, KPI tracking, and executive-ready materials.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in Finance transformation, process improvement, analytics or management consulting.
• Working knowledge of Finance and Treasury processes, data and controls.
• Proven ability to analyze process inventories and data to identify inefficiencies with measurable improvement.
• Hands-on data analysis: advanced Excel plus SQL and/or Power BI or Tableau, working with large datasets.
• Ability to build baselines and defensible benefit and total-cost-of-ownership models.
• Proven program management skills: planning, milestones, RAID management and status reporting.
• Structured problem solving with use of industry trends and benchmarks to inform recommendations.
• Excellent executive presentation and storytelling skills, with advanced PowerPoint and AI fluency.
• Exceptionally organized with persistent follow-up and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Finance and Treasury processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to automate.
• Pull data from source systems and process-mining outputs to baseline volumes and costs.
• Define KPIs and measure realized benefits against baseline using actual data.
• Manage portfolio intake, prioritization, and governance cadence; prepare decision papers and track actions.
• Provide program management support across portfolio initiatives with integrated plans and RAID logs.
• Lead EUDT reduction by inventorying spreadsheet-based tools and automating or standardizing where possible.
• Support leadership with fact-based analyses and industry benchmarks for recommendations.
• Prepare executive presentations and briefing materials with clear messages and required decisions.
