Job summary

State Street Corp in Boston seeks a Managing Director, Head of Finance Transformation to lead strategy, governance and portfolio orchestration for the Finance transformation program. You will partner with Finance, Treasury and enterprise teams to translate priorities into an integrated, prioritized portfolio with clear accountability.

This role requires deep experience in finance transformation, operating-model design and executive storytelling.

Qualifications

Significant leadership experience in Finance transformation, strategy, or operating-model change.
Strong understanding of Finance and Treasury processes and controls.
Proven ability to establish portfolio governance and program management.
Experience shaping operating models and domain/platform architectures.
Excellent storytelling and executive presentation skills.
Hands-on AI fluency with responsible use.

Responsibilities

Develop the Finance transformation strategy and multi-year roadmap with Finance and Treasury leadership.
Use end-to-end process discovery and data to identify opportunities and quantify value.
Own the intake, prioritization and portfolio governance framework.
Lead the evolution toward a domain/platform operating model with clear accountability.
Set standards for tracking benefits and realized value, ensuring executive transparency.
Use AI to pull facts together, accelerate analysis and produce executive-ready materials.
