Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is hiring a Vice President of Finance to lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights. You’ll own the long-range financial model, oversee planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and partner across Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, and Data teams.

A leadership track includes managing a team of 10 and preparing board materials. The role emphasizes driving data-driven decisions, understanding insurance metrics, and supporting fundraising and investor relations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in FP&A/strategic finance or related roles.
• 5+ years leading managers.
• Experience owning planning and forecasting for a business in regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Experience with BI/data teams and data-driven reporting.
• Experience coaching and growing managers.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets, FP tools, and BI/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams.
• Run annual plan and long-range financial model end-to-end.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, Claims, and Data teams.
• Manage a team of ~10 and develop future leaders.
• Prepare board materials and investor reporting.
