Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for external innovation search and evaluation.
• Develop and execute search strategies aligned with research, development, and commercial priorities.
• Oversee discovery- and clinical-stage search activities and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Build external sourcing engine and identify opportunities through biotech, academia, investors, and ecosystems.
• Partner with Portfolio Management and Research leaders to create strategic value and portfolio competitiveness.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and diligence standards for rigorous assessments.
• Mobilize cross-functional teams across Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Finance, IP, and Legal.
• Communicate clear risks, opportunities, and strategic considerations to decision-makers.
• Develop recommendations on prioritization, resource allocation, and partnerships.
