Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a VP, Shared Insurance Platforms in Charlotte to lead the delivery of an enterprise application portfolio supporting Claims, Billing, Marketing and Corporate Functions. This role is a key IT leader and part of the future CIO leadership pipeline.

You will foster talent development, drive employee engagement, and collaborate across IT disciplines while guiding budgets, strategy, and vendor relationships to enable business success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in application delivery.
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Strong project management leadership abilities.
• College degree in CS/Tech/Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CIO in the day-to-day activities of the Application Delivery area.
• Oversee engineering and delivery of applications to support business objectives.
• Evaluate, acquire, and implement vendor software.
• Collaborate on enterprise technology standards, architectures, and strategy.
• Deliver projects/products with defined features, schedule, and budget.
• Manage ITS department budget, sourcing options, and cost efficiency.
• Plan and direct Talent Management for the Application Delivery area.
• Oversee delivery of strategic projects with IT and business leaders.
