Job summary

Wellmark, Inc. seeks an enterprise technology leader to define and execute strategy for platform services, architecture, cloud, and AI adoption.

You will drive reusable capabilities, modern engineering standards, and a product mindset across platform teams to accelerate secure delivery and measurable business value. You will partner with the CIO and executives to align investments, simplify technology landscapes, and scale innovative solutions, while maintaining governance and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in technology, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years aligning enterprise technology and business objectives; 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record building or modernizing shared enterprise platforms and engineering capabilities.
• Strong business and financial acumen; translate tech choices into enterprise value.
• Experience leading automation, DevSecOps, secure software delivery, observability, and reusable standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for enterprise platforms, architecture, cloud, data, AI adoption, and engineering standards.
• Establish reusable capabilities and modern engineering practices to enable faster delivery and governance.
• Align investments, break down silos, and balance innovation, risk, and cost with executive leadership.
• Lead transformation and empower leaders and teams across global communities of practice.
• Drive platform product management with defined customers, roadmaps, SLAs, and value measures.
