Job summary

CPI Security in Charlotte, NC seeks a strategic VP to run Enterprise Applications and Software Engineering. You will lead Salesforce CRM development, enterprise apps, and custom software teams, reporting to the CIO.

This on-site role requires executive presence, strong communication, and hands-on leadership across architecture, delivery, and team development. The ideal candidate will drive platform strategy, governance, and modernization while partnering with senior leadership to enable business

Qualifications

10+ years in application development, software engineering, CRM/platform development, or technology leadership.
5+ years leading technical teams including managers and engineers.
Demonstrated experience leading Salesforce/CRM and custom software teams.
Strong Salesforce architecture knowledge and modern software practices (APIs, SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD).
Experience with enterprise ecosystems (Salesforce, NetSuite, AWS, APIs, data integrations).
Ability to partner with Product, QA, Cybersecurity, Data, IT Operations and business stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and drive execution.

Responsibilities

Define and execute enterprise applications and software engineering strategy aligned to business goals.
Lead Salesforce engineering, CRM development, and platform governance.
Direct custom software programs including web apps, internal tools, and APIs.
Govern AI-enabled development tools adoption with quality and security standards.
Oversee architecture, SDLC, release practices, and platform health.
Develop leaders and teams; support workforce planning and talent growth.
