Job summary

Vontier Corp. seeks a VP, Product Excellence to lead a new Center of Excellence spanning product management, engineering, and product marketing.

The role is a builder position, working through influence with CPOs, CTOs, and product leaders to establish common standards, tools, and talent practices for disciplined product reviews and improved NPD outcomes. You will stand up a lean corporate team, drive enterprise-wide standards, and partner across businesses to accelerate delivery and quality

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in product management, engineering, or product marketing leadership.
• Experience building and scaling an enterprise Center of Excellence across multiple business units.
• Deep fluency in product management disciplines and roadmapping with data-driven decisions.
• Ability to lead through influence with senior leaders not direct reports.
• Experience in industrial technology or related B2B hardware/software environments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; MBA preferred; open to global travel 30–40%.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve enterprise product operating system: roadmapping, governance, NPD process, quarterly/annual reviews.
• Partner with CPOs and leaders to ensure rigorous roadmaps and portfolio decisions.
• Maintain templates and metrics for product line reviews and portfolio health.
• Bridge product teams across businesses with corporate teams for alignment.
• Define enterprise standards for product quality and field performance across units.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations to link customer issues to the roadmap.
• Lead capability building: maturity models, training, and career framework.
• Lead lean corporate team and report to executive leadership on portfolio health.
