Job summary

Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. As VP, Engineering, Robotaxi, you will lead the engineering organisation responsible for taking our Robotaxi product from development through deployment and scale.

You will own the engineering strategy and execution across AI, onboard software, vehicle systems and validation, build a world-class leadership team and drive safe, scalable driverless operation in collaboration with product, validation and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large engineering organisations in complex autonomous systems.
• Strong background in safety-critical software and hardware.
• Proven ability to set and execute long-term technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering strategy and execution for Wayve’s Robotaxi program.
• Lead end-to-end system integration across AI, software, hardware, validation and operations.
• Develop senior engineering leaders and build a world-class engineering organisation.
• Drive safety, reliability and evidence-based deployment in collaboration with Validation and Safety teams.
• Set architectural direction across AI, software, compute, sensors and vehicle systems.
