Job summary

Wayve is building autonomous driving technology with a driver-out Robotaxi system, and you will translate the architecture into concrete requirements, interfaces and verification outputs. You’ll collaborate with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and operators to define boundaries, interfaces and verification plans.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, involving sensors, compute, safety, offboard services and fleet integration to drive scalable, safe deployment of autonomous driving

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, integrating or deploying a Robotaxi or production-intent L4 driver-out system.
• Ability to transform use cases into functional decomposition, requirements, interfaces and verification intent.
• Defined system boundaries across organizations, working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and operators.

Responsibilities

• Own systems engineering for Robotaxi architecture components, translating use cases into requirements and verification-ready specs.
• Lead technical sessions with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and Robotaxi operators to define boundaries and interfaces.
• Support implementation through reviews, trade studies and impact analysis with cross-domain teams.
