Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. We are seeking a Distinguished Software Architect to shape software architecture as we scale across vehicle platforms and OEM partnerships.

You will influence multiple teams across onboard software, AI, simulation, training and Robotaxi, driving architectural decisions and creating clear boundaries to enable rapid delivery while maintaining safety and scalability.

• Shaped the architecture of large, complex software systems.
• Led architectural changes across multiple teams or domains.
• Balanced delivery speed with long-term system health and quality.
• Experience solving architecture problems at scale is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Define architectural direction across Wayve's software ecosystem as we scale across platforms.
• Create clear software boundaries, interfaces and abstractions to reduce fragmentation.
• Lead large architectural changes spanning multiple engineering organisations.
• Improve how software is developed, integrated, tested and deployed across platforms.
• Collaborate across onboard software, AI, simulation, training and inference, product engineering and Robotaxi systems.
• Shape development platforms and engineering systems to enable scale.
• Partner with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to support production environments.
• Serve as technical decision-maker on complex architectural choices.
• Foster a strong engineering and design culture for safety-critical software.
