Job summary

Athene is seeking a Vice President of Sales, Defined Contribution to drive Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income sales to retirement advisors nationwide. You will build and manage relationships with plan sponsors, recordkeepers, and distribution partners while leading a strategic sales agenda.

The role demands a seasoned leader with expertise in the defined contribution market and ERISA; FINRA licenses are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Knowledge of ERISA fundamentals; expertise in private assets or guaranteed income.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and presentations with product specialists as needed.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
